Parenthood only magnified those struggles. I didn’t want to be so consumed by stress and self-doubt that I missed the moments that mattered. And I definitely didn’t want my kids to grow up holding themselves to the same impossible standards I had. I wanted to feel calm, present, and confident—not just for them, but for myself.
